Current Corona figures and regulations
Always higher: incidence in Furth exceeds 1800
More and more people are corona-positive: the number of infections is also rising sharply in Furth and the Furth district. © Hans-Joachim Winckler, NN
FuRTH – The incidence is approaching the 2000 mark, with the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reporting the seven-day incidence for the Kleeblattstadt on Tuesday at 1863.2, and for the district of Furth at 1631.9.
The incidence and corona case numbers
7-day incidence: Furth 1863.2 – Furth district 1631.9
New infections last 7 days: Furth 2389 – Furth LK 1937
Total cases: Fuerth 18.946 – Furth LK 14.668
Residents: Furth 128.223 – Furth LK 118.695
Deaths: Furth 284 – Furth LK 251
Current regulations: see below
The Seven-day incidence lies according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) in Furth on Tuesday at 1863,2 (Monday: 1801.5). It has been increasing by leaps and bounds since the beginning of January, with new highs being reached every day. In the district of Furth the incidence is 1631,9 (Monday: 1706.1). Recently, the 1000 mark has been surpassed in the city and the county. However, this did not result in stricter regulations: the Bavarian hotspot regulation is currently suspended; it affected municipalities with an incidence above 1000.
According to the health department, there have been recent cases in the double digits at two senior facilities in the city and county, but generally no severe courses. Above all, however, is a "very diffuse infection occurrence" to observe, without hotspots. The highly contagious omicron variant is increasingly spreading. Cases are also piling up in daycare centers and schools. In view of the large number of new infections, the health department has stopped calling those who have tested positive; it now relies on online forms.
No 2G-plus in gastronomy: new Corona rules for Bavaria
Current cases of infection: In Furth, 3043 people have tested positive. 15.506 people from Furth are healthy again. In the district 2622 people are positive. 11.666 people from the district are healthy again. (As of 31. January)
The Hospitalizations was given with the 15. Bavarian Ordinance on Measures for the Prevention of Infection suspended. The number of hospitalizations and also the number of covid intensive care patients thus play in Bavaria for the time being no more role for the valid rules. The traffic light would now be on yellow.
The current vaccination figures
Total: So far in the city and district of Furth a total of 460.757 vaccinations against the coronavirus. 116.313 of them were carried out by mobile teams of the vaccination center, 119.342 in the vaccination center in Rosenstrabe and 225.102 of medical practices (as of 31. January). The statistics also include second and third vaccinations.
Per day: On Monday, 31. January, 203 people from the city and county received the third vaccination dose (booster vaccination), 121 the second. Add 55 people who were immunized against Corona for the first time that day.
These regulations currently apply
In advance: What does 3G, 3G Plus and 2G mean?? Those who have not been vaccinated and have not recovered need a negative rapid test evidence no more than 24 hours old at 3G. For 3G Plus, this is not sufficient, then a negative PCR test result no more than 48 hours old is required.
The following applies: For students who are regularly tested at school, the student ID is usually sufficient for admission to 3G and 3G plus. Children who have not yet started school are automatically admitted here.
At 2G and 2G Plus, only vaccinated, convalescents, and children 14 and under are admitted. Exceptions will also be made until further notice in certain areas for unvaccinated adolescents between the ages of 14 and 18, so that they can continue their hobbies (such as sports, theater and music). There is also an exemption for them in restaurants and hotels. Those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons may be admitted under 2G upon presentation of a written medical certificate and a negative PCR test.
For 2G plus, vaccinated and recovered students need a test (self-test under supervision if allowed on site, or maximum 24-hour old rapid test proof or maximum 48-hour old PCR test proof; for students, student ID can usually replace test proof). New: 2G plus testing requirement is waived for boostered immediately after booster vaccination and for dually vaccinated who have contracted Corona and recovered. This exemption does not apply in hospitals, retirement and nursing homes.
2G plus, 2G rule: what specifically applies to children and young people?
Contact Restrictions: Unvaccinated people are now only allowed to meet with members of their own household and no more than two people from another household. Children in these households under the age of 14 are not counted; cohabiting partners who do not share a home are considered one household. Meetings of vaccinated and convalescents are limited to ten people. Children are vaccinated until 14. Birthday exempt from contact restrictions.
Mask requirement: Where masks are compulsory (e.g. in retail and public transport), they must be FFP2 masks. Special regulations exist for children and adolescents (under six years: no mask requirement, six to 16 years: medical masks; in elementary school, children may wear fabric masks).
Retail: FFP2 masks must be worn in all stores. There are also restrictions on how many customers can be in the store at one time. Unvaccinated people can also be admitted again.
Gastronomy: In Bavaria, 2G continues to apply – children and unvaccinated young people under the age of 18 continue to have access. Closing time from 10 p.m. Bars, clubs and discotheques are closed. Since 4. December, 2G also applies to outdoor catering, such as at mulled wine stands. In hotels, the policy also relies on 2G.
Body-related services (z.B. Hairdresser, not in medical, therapeutic, nursing activities): 2G.
Cinemas, theaters, spas, museums, trade shows, indoor sports, cultural and sporting events: 2G plus. Unvaccinated youths between 14 and 18 years of age are exempt when participating in their own sports activities and other hobbies (music, theater).
Colleges, libraries, music schools, non-school educational institutions (such as VHS): 2G. Physical Education: 2G plus. For underage youth, 3G again applies in youth work offerings. 3G applies in driving schools.
Schools: Students are regularly tested in the classroom, masks are also to be worn at the seat. Lollipop tests were introduced in elementary and special schools, providing more accurate results.
Quarantine regulations at schools have been simplified. If a student tests positive for Corona, the entire class no longer has to be quarantined automatically, but only the classmates who have been in the immediate vicinity for a longer period of time. The rest must test daily for a week. Students who are in quarantine will have the opportunity to test free after five days.
Quarantine: The regulations have been relaxed. Contact persons and infected persons must be quarantined for ten days – at the end of the quarantine no more test is needed. Free testing is possible from day seven. Excluded from quarantine as contact persons are: Boosters, convalescents who have been vaccinated twice, convalescents who have been vaccinated, newly convalescents (if the underlying test was at least 28 days and no more than 90 days ago), vaccinated (if the second vaccination was at least 15 days and no more than 90 days ago). More information and the necessary online forms are available here. Read more about new quarantine rules for daycare centers here.
