With the free S-Invest app, you can manage your securities account independently. In this article, we will show you how to buy new stocks and set up fund savings plans in the S-Invest app.
The share purchase
Click on "Buy" for an existing position, scroll all the way down in the securities account view and click on "Buy security" as described at 1a. You will then be prompted to enter a security identification number (WKN) or the name of the security. If you do not know the WKN number, enter the name of the company and click on "Search" (1b).
Select "Purchase" on the next page. Scroll down in the display and go to "Next" Now select a trading center. The app also shows you how much volume has taken place on the respective stock exchange so far, as well as the last price. Scroll down again in the display and go to "Next".
Enter the desired number of pieces and add an order limit to your order if necessary. More information about order types and limits can be found in our blog post Order Types in Stock Trading. Now add how long the order should be valid and scroll down again in the display and then click on "Continue.
The S-Invest app then summarizes your order details. After that, go to "Next". This is followed by a request to enter a TAN, which you receive via your respective TAN method (SMS-TAN, pushTAN or chipTAN). Enter if necessary. Enter your generated TAN and confirm the order. Once your order is received, it will be executed promptly. The purchased position is visible in the S-Invest app the next day at the latest.
And this is how you create a savings plan in S-Invest
First select the "Savings Plan" field under Deptoactions:
In the savings plan overview, click on "New savings plan" to create another savings plan.
Enter the name or ISIN of the fund and go to "Search"
Click on "Savings Plan" and scroll down to click on "Next"
Enter your savings rate, the first execution date, the execution interval and, if necessary, specify dynamization under "Other options". By dynamization you automatically adjust the rate of your savings plan. You specify the amount or percentage by which you want to increase the savings rate annually. Especially in case of rising inflation or an upcoming improvement of your asset situation, a dynamization is definitely recommended.
On the next page, we’ll give you a recap of the order:
Voila! Your savings plan has been set up and will be purchased on the specified execution date.
